The Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety qualification is aimed at candidates working as a health and safety practitioner, in a position of responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of a team or organisation. The qualification is generic and appropriate for individuals working in a range of sectors.
The awarding body for this qualification is ProQual Awarding Body and the regulatory body is the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual). The specification for this qualifications has been approved by the Council for the Curriculum Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) for use by centres in Northern Ireland.
This qualification has been accredited onto the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). This course is equivalent to NEBOSH IGC level 3.
There are 5 mandatory units and 2 optional units which you must complete, which cover a broad range of topics ranging from, promoting positive safety culture, to developing procedures to safely control work place and its operations
Each candidate is required to produce and submit portfolio of evidence, demonstrating that you have achieved all the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit.

There are NO EXAMS for this course, you are assessed solely on your submitted work-based evidence and documents. Remember you don't fail this course as there are no exams.
Each learner will be provided with a dedicated tutor/assessor who will be guiding and assessing your evidences submitted.
Finally once your work has been checked and passed by your assessor, you’ll receive a certificate as proof you have passed the NVQ
